PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cage and roller free from falling even when a unit is inclined or reversed for adjustment after being assembled in a transmission of an automobile and the like.SOLUTION: A cage and roller 1 is inserted between a housing 9 and a shaft 10 from one annular portion side to which a snap ring 8 is fitted. A diameter of the snap ring 8 is reduced so that the snap ring is accommodated in a groove of a cage in being passed through a raceway 9a part of a roller 10 of an inner diameter portion of the housing 9, but at a position of a recessed portion 9b of the housing 9, an outer diameter surface of the snap ring 8 has a diameter larger than the raceway 9a.
