PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine rotation stop control device capable of confining the air of the quantity which is required for a restart in the stop state of the engine, in a cylinder.SOLUTION: An engine system comprises: an engine 11 having an intake amount adjusting mechanism 14; stop restart mechanisms 19 and 31 capable of stopping the engine 11 and being restarted by the combustion energy of a fuel; and a load torque adjusting mechanism 33 for adjusting a loading torque to be applied to the engine 11. A control device 30: calculates the demand air quantity which is required as the air quantity inside of a predetermined cylinder at the time of the restart of the engine 11; controls the intake amount adjusting mechanism 14 so that the air quantity inside of a predetermined cylinder may be the demand air quantity, when the engine 11 is stopped by the stop restart mechanisms 19 and 31; and controls the load torque adjusting mechanism 33 so that the piston 11b of the predetermine cylinder may be stopped at a target stop position within the range, in which the state of confining the air of a demand quantity in a predetermined cylinder is kept.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
