PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft member that can suppress an increase in temperature due to friction of a shaft and bearing parts each including a sealing member.SOLUTION: A conveyance screw 48 consists of an axis of rotation 20 as a shaft member and a screw 30 integrally fastened to an outer peripheral part of the axis of rotation 20. Both the ends of the axis of rotation 20 are rotatably and slidably supported by bearing members 51 including a sealing member 52 as bearing parts 50 as support parts. The axis of rotation 20 has a hollow part 21 provided inside thereof encapsulating water as an example of a liquid 22 and air as an example of a gas 23. The water as the liquid 22 is filled and encapsulated at a ratio of half the capacity of the hollow part 21. Both the ends of the hollow part 21 in the axis of rotation 20 are formed to have a length extending from the bearing parts 50, and both the ends of the axis of rotation 20 are closed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
