PURPOSE: An improved hume pipe and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to prevent the corrosion of a pipe body by forming an inorganic coating layer at the inner surface of the pipe body. CONSTITUTION: An improved hume pipe is composed of a pipe body(10), and an inorganic coating layer(20). The pipe is made of concrete, and has a water passage(10a) therein. The inorganic coating layer is made of liquid ceramic, and is integrally formed at the inner surface of the pipe body.
