PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote efficiency of a series of operation from generating an image to creating an image reading report. SOLUTION: The image reading workstation 4 is connected through a network 7 to imaging devices installed in a plurality of hospitals and equipped with a mount base part 10 for positioning image photography and for tomographic image photographing and a console 11 having a setting function for tomographic imaging condition, and installed in an image reading center remote to a plurality of hospitals. The work station is further equipped with a displaying device 24 for displaying a picked up image transferred from the imaging device, an inputting device 26 for inputting an image reading report of the picked up image, and a CPU 23 which transmits the inputted image reading report to the hospitals where the imaging device which transmitted the picked up image is installed through a network.
