PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shutter device mounting structure which prevents an object or a person from hitching on a guide rail, and is excellent in appearance. SOLUTION: According to the shutter device mounting structure, the guide rail 5 of a shutter device 1 is mounted in a building skeleton 10 so as to be almost flush with a surface of an external wall 16 mounted on the building skeleton 10. Therefore the guide rail 5 does not protrude from the external wall 26 but is almost flush with the surface of the external wall 26, which contributes to prevention of an object or a person from hitching with the guide rail 5. Further the guide rail 5 is almost flush with the surface of the external wall 26, and therefore it is inconspicuous, to thereby contribute to excellent finish of the appearance of the building.
