PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device and an image processing method along with a program thereof, which is convenient and easy to use for users when processing an original image of a wide view angle that is taken with a wide angle imaging optical system. SOLUTION: A control unit changes a developed image 102 to the output of a zoom image 103, and the zoom image 103 is displayed by a display unit. If a user presses a button through an input device while the zoom image 103 is outputted, and if that state is kept for specified period, in other words, if the control unit acquires the input information for specified hours; an output of the developed image 102a is selected. If the control unit continuously acquires the input information through a button after the output of the developed image 102a is selected, an image is outputted in which a cursor 16a is moved or the size of the cursor 16a is changed in the developed image 102a.
