PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To replace a chemical filter necessary to be periodically replaced without entering a clean space and without removing a dust removal filter, in an air cleaning unit. SOLUTION: A filter replacement apparatus is provided in which a fan unit 3 of a fan 1 and a motor 2 is built in a chamber 4; the chemical filter 5 and dust removal filter 6 are provided thereunder; jack-up metals 12 having notches 11 are attached on a top face of the chamber 4; each of screw bolt 18 is composed of a long bolt 13 and at the upper parts thereof, a washer 14 and a spacer 15, and a washer 14 and a spring washer 16 and a nut 17, and is inserted into the notch 11 of the jack-up metal 12, and set to nut 19 in a setting frame 10. Rotation of the screw bolts 18 vertically moves the jack-up metals 12 and makes the chamber 4 closely fit to or leave from the chemical filter 5 to allow attachment and detachment.
