<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a layout printing control unit capable of generating printing data without generating an extra margin between respective pages after layout concerning layout printing for printing a plurality of kinds of page data on one sheet of paper after layout. <P>SOLUTION: Page information set in a document and layout information in printing the document are acquired (301 and 302 in figure 3). A mount to be used for the layout processing of content is generated based on the page information and the layout information (303 in figure 3). The sizes of the plurality of content arrangement areas included in the mount are adjusted (304 in figure 3). The page is generated based on the adjusted mount information, and the content is arranged in the content arrangement area in the page, so as to generate the document (308 in figure 3).
