PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a fixing member from swinging or wrinkling. SOLUTION: An end restricting member 112 supports a fixing belt 102 from the inside so that the fixing belt 102 becomes nearly circular. Consequently, pressing force operates on the fixing belt 102 as shown by an arrow B to suppress deformation of the fixing belt 102 nearby an internal surface 115 of a driving gear 114. Even when the driving gear 114 is rotated in this state, the fixing belt 102 is prevented from swinging or wrinkling since the fixing belt 102 has nearly no variation in external diameter.
