PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin and lightweight sound absorbing laminated body with excellent sound absorbability of middle level region frequency and form stability, suitable to the automotive interior, and a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: The compound sound-absorbing material is formed by joining a face material of at least one sheet layer of dense structure and a base material of coarse structure. The face material comprises a laminated nonwoven fabric of multilayered structure, formed by laminating and heat-compressing a thermoplastic fiber layer A of a high melting point component, an extremely fine fiber layer B as an intermediate layer, and a layer C containing thermoplastic synthetic fibers of a low melting point component with the fiber melting point lower by 30°C or more than that of the high melting point component. The laminated nonwoven fabric has a unit weight of 20-250g/m<SP>2</SP>and an average bulk density of 0.15-0.8g/cm<SP>3</SP>, the base material has a thickness of 5-50 mm, the compound sound-absorbing material has a thickness of 5-50 mm, a unit weight of 100-1,500g/m<SP>2</SP>, and a sound absorption of 50% or more of 4,000 Hz frequency.
