The present invention relates to a method for recovering iron oxide and hydrochloric acid from an aqueous solution containing iron chloride. According to an embodiment, the present invention provides a method for recovering iron oxide and hydrochloric acid from an aqueous solution containing iron chloride, comprising the steps of: evaporating and concentrating an iron chloride-containing aqueous solution to obtain iron oxide crystals; calcinating the iron chloride crystals to be decomposed into iron oxide and chlorine-containing gas; introducing air to the iron oxide and cooling and recovering the iron oxide through heat exchange; and making the chlorine-containing gas react to recover the gas as hydrochloric acid, wherein the air absorbing heat through the heat exchange is supplied back to the calcination step as fuel for combustion. According to the present invention, waste heat from a step of recovering hydrochloric acid and iron oxide is recycled to improve heat efficiency, thereby saving the energy and reducing the processing cost. |
