PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spatial optical transmitter capable of reducing installation cost and construction cost for wiring by minimizing the number of connection lines to stationary side optical transmitters installed in a plurality of mounting sections.SOLUTION: Spatial optical transmission of data signal is performed between stationary side optical transmitters 1 provided in a plurality of load ports 9 and mobile side optical transmitters 2 installed in a plurality of transportation trucks 8. The stationary side optical transmitter 1 comprises an I/O unit 10 to be connected with a transport controller 7 of the load port 9, and an optical transmission unit 20 which transmits transmission data signal sent from the I/O unit 10 to the mobile side optical transmitter 2 while superimposing on spatial light, and receives the data signal transmitted from the mobile side optical transmitter 2 while being superimposed on the spatial light. Each I/O unit 10 and each optical transmission unit 20 in a plurality of stationary side optical transmitters 1 are connected by a serial communication cable 3 only of a pair of data lines and a pair of power source lines. |
