The invention relates to a fixation arrangement comprising a holder and a clamping sleeve receiving a bone screw, wherein the bone screw has a shank with a front thread and a head at the rear end, wherein the holder is provided with a through bore and a receiving seat in which the clamping sleeve is mounted so as to be pivotable, wherein the shank, in a rear area in front of the head, has a thickened part, of which the width increases towards the head, and the width of the clamping sleeve is greater than the width of the shank directly in front of the thickened part and smaller than the maximum width of the thickened part. During the screwing-in procedure, the thickened part widens the clamping sleeve, such that the latter is pressed with its jacket against the wall of the receiving seat.
