PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate with an antibacterial layer, which has excellent antiglare property and suppresses iridescent irregularity and warpage, and a film for a display using the substrate.SOLUTION: The substrate with an antibacterial layer includes an optically anisotropic substrate and an antibacterial layer disposed on at least a part of a surface of the substrate. The antibacterial layer comprises antibacterial agent fine particles and a binder, in which the antibacterial agent fine particles have an average particle diameter of 0.05 to 1 μm; the antibacterial layer has a thickness of larger than 5 μm and 15 μm or less; and the substrate has a tensile strength of 200 MPa or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
