PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress power consumption associated with light emission of a self-luminous pointing element.SOLUTION: An interactive projection system includes a projector for projecting a projected screen on a screen surface and a self-luminous pointing element. The self-luminous pointing element includes a first light-emission unit for emitting a first light, a light intensity detection unit for detecting intensity of a second light emitted by the projector, and a luminous quantity adjusting part for reducing the luminous quantity of the first light with the higher intensity of the second light detected by the light intensity detection unit. The projector includes: a second light-emitting unit for emitting the second light; an imaging unit for receiving light in a wavelength region including the wavelength of the first light and imaging a region of the projected screen; and a position detection unit for detecting a position of the self-luminous pointing element with respect to the projected screen on the basis of the image captured by the imaging unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
