PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an approximate position information calculation apparatus, calculation method and calculation program capable of calculating approximate position information of a mobile terminal by switching positional information to be used for calculating the approximate position information of the mobile terminal in accordance with congestion states of devices constituting a network.SOLUTION: In the case where a congestion state determination section 63 determines on the basis of congestion information a state where congestion occurs in devices constituting a radio communication network system 10, an approximate position information calculation method selection section 64 outputs an instruction to a positional information acquisition section 66 to acquire from a positional information management table 61b positional information of an area in which an MT 50 is located, from among positional information of areas charged by the devices constituting the radio communication network system 10. An approximate position information calculation section 67 calculates approximate position information not on the basis of a base station positioning processing result but on the basis of the positional information of the area in which the MT 50 is located, acquired by the positional information acquisition section 66. |
