PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit peeling of a metal layer from a piezoelectric substrate.SOLUTION: An elastic wave device includes: a piezoelectric substrate 10; an electrode 13 formed on the piezoelectric substrate 10 and exciting elastic waves; a metal layer 15 formed on the piezoelectric substrate 10; an insulation layer 20 contacting with the metal layer 15 on two or more surfaces 30, 32 different from at least one of the upper side and the lower side; and a connection part 22 formed on the metal layer 15 and used for electrically connecting the electrode 13 with the exterior. |
