PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air battery capable of suppressing a corrosion product from precipitating to a lower part and depositing/adhering on an electrolyte side negative electrode surface, and an air battery stack.SOLUTION: An air battery includes: a negative electrode layer; a positive electrode layer; an electrolyte retaining layer located between the negative electrode layer and the positive electrode layer and retaining an electrolyte; an oxygen-containing gas circulation layer located on a side opposite to a side of the electrolyte retaining layer in the positive electrode layer and circulating oxygen-containing gas; and a fluid direction adjustment member that has an opening in the whole or a part within the electrolyte retaining layer in a layer thickness direction thereof and a lattice-like shape. An air battery stack includes a plurality of the air batteries, and has a structure where the plurality of the air batteries are stacked. |
