FUEL CELL GENERATOR, AND OPERATION METHOD, PROGRAM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of a fuel cell generator where CO has been generated in a combustion gas, when the amount of the off gas used for the combustion gas rapidly increases during power generation.

SOLUTION: A fuel cell generator comprises a combustion unit 104 into which air is supplied for burning a combustion gas, and moreover, heating a reforming portion 103; a hydrogen producing apparatus 120 that produces a hydrogen-rich gas, by making steam react to raw material; fuel cells 107 that generate electric power by using the hydrogen-rich gas; and an off gas flow passage 111, through which the off gas that is the rest of the hydrogen-rich gas that has not been used for power generation in the fuel cells 107 is supplied to a combustion unit 104 as combustion gas, where the amount of air supplied to the combustion unit 104 is increased for a given time so as to make the air ratio higher than the predetermined air ratio for the steady operation mode, immediately after the start of generation or when the amount generated is reduced.
