PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid oxide fuel cell capable of improving comprehensive energy efficiency by effectively using an accumulated heat quantity while maintaining a proper temperature in a fuel cell module.SOLUTION: A solid oxide fuel cell comprises: a fuel cell module; fuel supply means; a reformer; means for supplying oxidant gas for electricity generation; a heat storage material; a burning part which burns a residual fuel and heats the reformer; a plurality of temperature detection means; heat storage amount estimation means for estimating a heat storage amount based on a past history of a plurality of detected temperatures; and control means for determining fuel utilization so that the fuel utilization increases with respect to the same generated power as the estimated heat storage amount increases based on the estimated heat storage amount and a demand power and for controlling the fuel supply means based on this fuel utilization. |
