PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a returnable case for a container capable of storing a baggage by coping with its various height by varying the height of the case. SOLUTION: The returnable case 10 is equipped with a pallet 7, a rectangular frame 1 which is installed on the pallet in one stage or a plurality of stages to form a space storing the baggage, and a corner metal fitting 8. The rectangular frame 1 has a connection structure by hinges 4, 5, a short side frame 3 is folded and bent inward to the long side frame 2 freely formed at an intermediate position, and held by engaging a stopper 6 which is provided on the lower part of the rectangular frame 1 and projected to the lower direction with the pallet 7 having a laminated rectangular frame or the outer surface of the lower rectangular frame. The corner metal fitting 8 has two engaging projection 8a opened to the lower direction on the lower surface, and mounted by fitting the projection to the long side or the short side frames at the corner part of the rectangular frame 1 at the uppermost stage. A pressing piece 8b pressing the corner part end surface of the lid plate 9 placed on the metal fitting or the pallet of the laminated case is provided on the upper surface of the metal fitting 8.
