<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique reducing a possible economic loss by performing production planning before completion of development in an introduction period of a product life cycle based on a theoretical basis, and generalizing a planning skill by automatic calculation. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises steps of calculating a production cost accumulated amount obtained by an arithmetic means by reading, based on a development completion time, each part constituting a product and a working cost unit price thereof from a storage device and accumulating them at each occurrence; calculating a sales opportunity loss accumulated amount by the arithmetic means by reading a daily demand quantity and a market unit price at each point in a production lead time period from start of production from the development completion to shipping and accumulating products thereof; and calculating a sum of the calculated sales opportunity loss accumulated amount and production cost accumulated amount at each point of time by the arithmetic means, and determining a time when the calculated sum is minimized as a mass production start date. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
