PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sun visor for a vehicle and a skin material covering method of the same capable of facilitating the rolling in of skin material at an insertion port part of a shaft inserted into a sun visor body, and reducing the cost.SOLUTION: The sun visor for a vehicle includes: a sun visor body 10; and a shaft 20 one end of which is provided with a bracket 21 to be attached to a vehicle body, and a part of which is inserted into the sun visor body 10. The shaft 20 holds the sun visor body 10 rotatably around the shaft 20 as a rotation axis, and supports the sun visor body 10 slidably in an axial direction of the shaft 20. The shaft 20 has a step part 22 on a side of the bracket 21, a surface of the sun visor body 10 is covered with skin material 40 with a part of the shaft 20 being pulled out of the sun visor body 10, and outer peripheral welder processing is performed, after that, skin material 41 at an insertion port part of the shaft 20 is pushed into the sun visor body 10 by the step part 22 of the shaft 20, and rolled in the sun visor body 10. |
