Method and device for updating medical devices

The method involves partially changing an operating program stored in a medicine-technical device by a new operating program. The operating program is partially stored in a variable memory of the medicine-technical device. Updation of the medicine-technical device is partially changed by the new operating program. The new operating program is stored in a data medium and is transmitted from a reading device to the memory. Hardware-components in the medicine-technical device are activated by the new operating program. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for updating a medicine-technical device (2) a method for updating software and firmware in an electronic medicinal device.
