<p>A hood support (20) for a tractor includes a bracket (28) attached to an engine compartment under the tractor hood (10), a rod bent into a U-shaped loop (21) having a pair of ends (29, 30) pivotably mounted to the bracket (28), and a spring (24) coiled around one of the ends (29, 30) urging the U-shaped loop (21) toward a raised position. A pocket (26) under the tractor hood (20) is dimensioned to receive the U-shaped loop (21) and support the hood (20) in the raised position.</p> |
