The present invention relates to a pounding device for polishing both rice and barley, by which a large quantity of various grains such as rice and barley may be may be effectively polished in a short time and may be prevented from being denatured by heat occurring during a polishing operation. According to a pounding device (1) of the present invention, a driving axis (3) rotated by a motor (4) is axially installed inside of a sorting sieve (7) installed in a casing (2), and a plurality of polishing-tools (6) are axially fixed to the driving axis (3) in multiple layers at particular gaps (t) so as to polish grains fed by a supply screw (5). Each of the polishing-tools (6) comprises: an upper polishing unit (8) formed in multiple layers to have an outer diameter gradually becoming larger toward a lower side from an upper side of the driving axis (3); an intermediate polishing unit (9) formed in multiple layers to have an identical outer diameter toward a lower side from the center of the driving axis (3); and a lower polishing unit (10) formed in multiple layers to have an outer diameter gradually becoming smaller toward a lower end from a lower side of the driving axis (3). A ventilation wing (6d) is formed between a boss (6a) which constitutes the polishing-tool (6) and a fixing flange (6c) to which a diamond (6d) is fixed. |
