A seat suspension system (20) for a machine (10) is provided. The seat suspension system includes a lower housing (28), an upper housing (30) and an intermediate support member (32) arranged to support the upper housing. A height adjustment assembly (50) is arranged between the intermediate support member (32) and the upper housing (30). The height adjustment assembly (50) includes a plurality of swing links (52, 54) arranged and configured to move the upper housing (30) in an upward direction and a rearward direction relative to the intermediate support member (32). A suspension assembly (34) is arranged between the lower housing (28) and the intermediate support member (32) and movably supporting the intermediate support member and the upper housing on the lower housing. The suspension assembly includes a first scissor arm (36) and a second scissor arm (38) pivotally connected to the first scissor arm.
