Provided are a method and device for processing a resource state request in a long term evolution system, the method comprising: a gateway receives a plurality of resource state requests sent by a plurality of home base stations (S302); the gateway combines the plurality of resource state requests into a specific resource state request according to a preset rule (S304); the gateway sends the specific resource state request to a macro base station; or the gateway does not send the specific resource state request to the macro base station, and directly sends a reply message for the specific resource state request to the home base stations (S306). The present invention solves the problem in the prior art that the introduction of a large number of HeNBs requires existing network eNBs to be upgraded and altered, and thereby achieves the effect of avoiding the need to upgrade and alter existing networks. |
