PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: glass compositions which improve an electrical contact between an electroconductive paste and an underlying substrate so as to achieve improved solar cell efficiency by improving emitter quality; and glass frits which improve adhesion of an electroconductive paste to an underlying silicon substrate.SOLUTION: This invention relates to glass compositions for use in forming an electroconductive paste composition. The electroconductive paste composition includes conductive metallic particles, an organic vehicle, and a glass composition comprising tellurium oxide (TeO), zinc oxide (ZnO) and lithium oxide (LiO) and comprising bismuth oxide (BiO) and lead oxide (PbO).SELECTED DRAWING: None
