PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of easily setting coloring area of an exterior housing.SOLUTION: A projector 10 includes: an exterior housing 12; a light source unit 52 that outputs a beam of light; a first optical modulation section 54 that modulates the beam of light based on a first image signal to generate a beam of first modulation light; a first projection part 56 that projects the first modulation light onto a screen SC; a second optical modulation section 58 that modulates the beam of light based on a second image signal to generate the second modulation light; a second projection part 60 that projects the second modulation light on to the exterior housing 12; and a projection area setting section 62 that sets a projection area for the second projection part 60 to project the second modulation light.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
