PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface mounting connector capable of suppressing occurrence of such a state that some of a plurality of contacts held on the housing are not connected electrically with a board.SOLUTION: A plurality of contacts 11 have respective connections 11a to be connected electrically with a board 100. A housing 12 holds the plurality of contacts 11 in arranged state. A thermosetting adhesive 14 is placed to adhere to the housing 12 in a state before being heated and hardened, and when a connector 1 is mounted on the board 100 and heated, the adhesive is hardened and the volume of which contracts. The thermosetting adhesive 14 is placed while adhering, at least partially, to the bottom face 12b of the housing 12 facing the surface 100a of the board 100.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
