The present invention discloses a portable card terminal using an audio jack, which provides a card payment function to a user by being combined to a smart device through using the audio jack, capable of verifying an error of transmitting/receiving signals. The portable card terminal using an audio jack according to the present invention includes: a reader part to read card information stored in the card; a controller to receive the card information from the reader and encode the received card information; and a connecting part having an audio jack to be inserted into earphone and microphone connecting ports of the smart device to receive a transmission signal from the controller to transmit the transmission signal to the smart device and receive a reception signal from the smart device to transfer the reception signal to the controller, wherein the audio jack of the connecting part includes a left terminal, a right terminal and a microphone terminal for the signal exchange between the controller and the smart device, and the controller and the smart device exchange the transmission signal, the reception signal and a clock for verifying an error between two signals through the terminal module to verify the transceiving signal error between the portable card terminal and the smart device. |
