The present invention provides a washing machine. The present invention includes: a drum which is rotatable; a control panel which selects one washing course of multiple washing courses from a user and displays washing source information of the selected washing course; a control unit which performs washing operation by rotating the drum according to one washing source which the user selects; and a storing unit which stores the number of performance of the washing courses to be performed according to the selection of the user. The operation panel enables the user to input a washing operation command to perform the washing operation without additional operations by displaying the washing course which is used the most on the operation panel when the washing machine to display the washing course information of the washing course to be performed the most receives a power.
