VIDEO IMAGE DISPLAY APPARATUS, FUNCTION ADDING DEVICE AND VIDEO IMAGE DISPLAY SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive video display apparatus capable of executing download setting based on an operation on a network.

SOLUTION: The apparatus has a management storage unit (NVRAM 24) for storing a management screen of setting and an operation for updating data stored in a data storing unit (memory card (MC) 20); and a network operation management unit (C-CPU 21) having an address to be specified on the network, reading the management screen from the NVRAM 24 when the address is designated by an operation on the network, and allowing the read management screen to be publicized on the network using a screen format suitable for the network so that new data can be downloaded on the memory card (MC) 20.
