PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch device which positively releases transmission of torque. SOLUTION: The clutch device 4 transmits torque and releases its transmission from an engine to an input shaft 6 of a manual transmission, and it is composed of: a flywheel 10 connected to a crankshaft 5 of the engine; a clutch disk 17 capable of transmitting torque to the input shaft 6; a pressure plate 14 pressing the clutch disk 17 against the flywheel 10 such that torque is transmitted to the input shaft 6; a release bearing 7 releasing pressing of the clutch disk 17 by a diaphragm 15 and the pressure plate 14; and sticking preventing means 16b, 18 for preventing sticking of the clutch disk 17 and the flywheel 10 when pressing of the clutch disk 17 is released by the release bearing 7.
