<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly adjust the driving posture of a driver while suppressing an increase of the cost. <P>SOLUTION: In an automobile 1, the longitudinal and vertical positions of a pedal, the longitudinal and vertical positions of the steering, the longitudinal and vertical positions of the hip point, and the cushion angle are automatically adjusted. In this condition, the vertical position of a steering wheel, the vertical position of a movable floor and the vertical position of a seat are interlocked with each other; the longitudinal and vertical positions of the movable floor are interlocked with each other; the longitudinal and vertical positions of the steering wheel are interlocked with each other; and the vertical position of a driver's seat is interlocked with the angle of a seat cushion. In other words, when each component is independently adjustable, seven actuators are necessary for the drive in each direction. In the present invention, attention is given to the interlocking property of components of high relationship in the adjustment of the driving posture, and the posture adjustment to meet the constant eye point and individual characteristics is realized by four actuators. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
