<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine generator which can exactly detect that an engine is in operation, can exactly detect the loosening and the breakage of a fan belt, and can protect the engine by exactly preventing the overheat of the engine. <P>SOLUTION: The engine generator comprises: a generation state detection means 12 which detects the operation state of an AC generator (generator 11); a voltage detection means 13 which detects a generation voltage of a charging generator; and a water temperature detection means 14 which detects a water temperature of cooling water. The engine generator also comprises: an engine control means 15 which stops the engine when the generation state detection means detects that the engine is in operation when the engine is started, and when the voltage detection means detects a voltage lower than a set voltage which is set in advance, or when the water temperature detection means detects a temperature higher than a set temperature which is set in advance; or an operation state display means 16 which displays the breakage of the fan belt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
