<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve usability of a tablet device. <P>SOLUTION: In a personal computer 1 applicable to this information processor, a magnetic sensor 39 detects an opened/closed state of a display panel, and generates a detection signal, an EC/KBC 38 decides whether the opened/closed state of the display panel varies or not based on the generated detection signal, and a CPU (Central Processing Unit) 31 executes a system BIOS (Basic Input Output System) loaded on a main memory 33, notifies an OS (Operating System) 44 of a confirmation request for confirming status of the tablet device 14, executes the OS 44 loaded on the main memory 33, acquires the status of the tablet device 14 set by the system BIOS according to the notification of the confirmation request, decides whether the acquired status of the tablet device is effective or not, and performs control to permit or forbid a function of the tablet device 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
