<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device for a sleeve pipe or the like inserted in a fuel rod for a nuclear reactor core and improve the efficiency of the cutting device. <P>SOLUTION: The pipe cutting unit is composed of a holding unit 10, a cutting unit 20, and a control unit (not shown in the figure). The holding unit is composed of a fixed part 11 fixed to the lower layer of a frame body 30 and a movable part 12 driven by a hydraulic unit or the like, and positioned by holding the sleeve pipe 40 which is introduced from the opening 321 of the frame body and radioactively contaminated. The cutting unit is composed of a fixed part 21 fixed to the upper layer of the frame body 30 and a movable part 22 driven by the hydraulic device or the like, and the sleeve pipe held by the holding unit is cut with blades 211, 221.
