PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a blade rubber excellent in water repellency by efficiently and uniformly impregnating the blade rubber 6 with a silicone water-repellent agent. SOLUTION: The blade rubber 6 consisting of a general-purpose rubber (natural rubber) is repeatedly, in a plurality of times, placed under a vacuum atmosphere in the condition in which it is immersed in a silicone amino-modified on both terminals, one of silicone water-repellent agents. By this the water-repellent agent, the silicone that is amino-modified on both terminals, is impregnated into the blade rubber 6, to manufacture the blade rubber 6 exhibiting excellent water repellency.
