METHOD FOR DYNAMIC CHANNEL ALLOCATION OF MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND THEREOF BASE STATION

A dynamic channel allocation method in a mobile communication system and a base station thereof are provided to improve the performance of mobile stations allocated to not only a cross time slot but also a normal time slot by classification into an area where interference is weak and an area where interference is strong to assign a channel of a cross time slot. A base station determines the number of mobile stations assigned to each time slot(S400), determines the number of mobile stations to be assigned to a cross time slot and normal time slot of a heavy zone and a light zone(S402), arranges the all of the mobile stations with each sector according to the distance(S404), assigns time slots to the mobile stations in the order of near distance(S406). Finally, the base station assigns an arbitrary code within a time slot allocated to each mobile station to allocate each channel(S408).
