ASSET TRACKING

Data is received including a trigger instruction to scan a field of view of the optical sensor for a data marker containing an identifier and located at a known location. An optical sensor scans the field of view to acquire the identifier from the data marker. The identifier is provided for determining a current position of the optical sensor using a record associating the identifier contained on the data marker and the known location.
