Disclosed are a signal clipping processing method and apparatus to satisfy requirements on Error Vector Magnitude (EVM) by different modulation modes, thereby improving the efficiency of power amplifiers. The method includes: performing peak value detection on an input signal and obtaining the amplitude information, phase information and location information of the peak signal of the input signal; obtaining peak forming factors corresponding to each peak signal according to the amplitude information and phase information of each peak signal, and respectively outputting corresponding cancellation pulse sequences according to the location information of each peak signal, wherein the cancellation pulse sequences are determined according to the Baseband Unit (BBU) scheduling information, and the scheduling information is used to indicate the modulation modes by which each resource block for transmitting the input signal transmits data symbols ; summing the multiplications of the peak forming factors corresponding to each peak signal and the corresponding cancellation pulse sequences, obtaining a clipping noise, and taking the difference between the input signal and the clipping noise as a clipped signal. |
