An optical film comprises a supporting substrate and a structuralized layer integrally formed on the supporting layer and having a plurality of light-concentrating units including design that varies in height along their length or varies in pitch of prism structure to overcome the optical defects (wet-out) of the optical film and to enhance the optical properties of the optical film.

1. An optical film, comprising:
a substrate; and a structuralized layer disposed on the substrate, wherein the structuralized layer comprises a plurality of prisms extending substantially in a first direction; wherein for each of the plurality of prisms, the prism comprises a first portion and a second portion, a first ridge of the first portion swings up and down with respect to a first reference line and a second ridge of the second portion swings up and down with respect to a second reference line, wherein the location of the first reference line is higher than the location of the second reference line.
