PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a dispersion containing colorant finely dispersed in a dispersive solvent quickly and under reduced power, and to provide a method for producing an ink composition containing the dispersion and a resin.SOLUTION: The dispersion (E), in which a colorant (A) of a median size of ≤1 μm is dispersed in a solvent (C), is produced by a step which comprises: mixing the colorant (A), a dispersant (B), the solvent (C), and a compressible fluid (D) the pressure of which is ≥2 MPa; and removing the fluid (D) by vaporization of the vacuum-expanded mixture. The method for producing the ink composition including a step of mixing the dispersion (E) and a resin (F) is provided. |
