The method involves separating inserts i.e. cores from a non-specific quantity by a feeding mechanism, and feeding the inserts to a core distributor (14). The inserts are aligned in a precisely defined position to molds of a rotary tablet press. The inserts are delivered to the molds in the defined position such that the inserts are inserted into the molds, respectively. The core distributor is provided with a central compressed air connection, which is in operative connection with control valves. The valves are controllable by a fixed cam of the core distributor. An independent claim is also included for a device for insertion of an insert i.e. core, into a mold of a rotary tablet press, comprising a feeding mechanism. |
