PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle door opening and closing control device capable of preventing erroneous detection with a simple configuration without being restricted by an attachment position of a sensor.SOLUTION: A detecting section 10 for detecting a user in predetermined detection areas A1-A4 is constituted by a plurality of sensors 11-14. The sensors 11-14 are arrayed horizontally in the rear portion of a vehicle 100 in such a manner that the detection areas of the adjacent sensors are overlapped. When any of the sensors detects the user and outputs a detection signal (first detection signal), a threshold to a detection signal (second detection signal) of the sensor adjacent to the sensor is raised, and the first and the second detection signals are converted to first and second binarized signals. A back door 2 is opened when an output period of the second binarized signal falls within an output period of the first binarized signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
