PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance method of an inkjet recording device excellent in cleaning property in a nozzle forming member of the inkjet recording device, suppressing aggregation of solvent-based inks, and capable of coping with long-term standing environment.SOLUTION: A method includes a wiping process of wiping a nozzle forming member where a nozzle of a head discharging a solvent-based ink composition is formed by using an impregnation liquid and with a liquid absorptive wiping member 30. The impregnation liquid contains at least one kind of organic solvent selected the group consisting of a chemical compound represented by a general formula (1), esters, and dibasic acid esters.
