An apparatus for controlling the information on status of an earthquake accelerometer, according to the present invention, comprises: an earthquake recorder which outputs a sensor status information request signal having a specific code pulse; a force balance accelerometer (FBA) type electromechanical earthquake accelerometer in which a displacement sensor, a signal processing part, a correction coil, and a first control unit are installed; and a balance control part which generates electromagnetic force having a direction opposite to the vibrating direction of the displacement sensor to allow the displacement sensor to precisely measure seismic vibration. Thus, the present invention transfers the information on status of the earthquake accelerometer to the earthquake recorder according to the indication of the correction signal outputted from the earthquake recorder. |
